  The food was reasonable traditional Hawaiian cuisine. I ate there at lunch time. My visit was tarnished because there was only one person working the tables, the register, taking phone in orders, and preparing the take-out boxes for customers coming in. With all tables booked there needs to be more than one person running the tables. Couldn't help but overhear many grumbling customers, waiting patiently for their food and checks.

  I went here with no expectations. Pre-reading all the comments really gave me no insight since they were so polarized. It seems you either love it or hate it here. I ordered the special which was thinly sliced beef, dipped in egg and flour. It came with the rice and macaroni salad.
  
  I did hear great things about the macaroni salad and while it was decent it did NOT live up to the hype. Everything else just tasted like Teriyaki and was rather bland.
  
  All in all, the food was OK and the serving size was good but the price was exorbitant especially for lunch. In a nut shell I probably won't be coming back anytime soon.

  Best island food in the whole area!!! Love me some HuliHuli chicken and Kahlua pork! Also the best kimchi!
